چکیده
Accepted: 31.12.2014 In this study, analysed using finite element method (FEM) of biomechanical behaviours of human femur model under the different loads. Geomagic and Soldiworks program were used for 3D model human of femur model, and Ansysworkbench was used for finite element analysis (FEA). Compression, tension, bending and torsional loading were applied to 3D human femur model. Femur bone was exhibited that the best stabile behavior under the torsional loading. The reason is due to the bone structure. In contrary to this situation, the femur model under the bending loading type has lowest safety factor due to high stress and deformation. Therefore, type of loading on the femur is crucial for surgical procedure and rehabilitation approaches.

متن کاملFinite Element Analysis of Different Hip Implant Designs along with Femur under Static Loading Conditions
Background: The hip joint is the largest joint after the knee, which gives stability to the whole human structure. The hip joint consists of a femoral head which articulates with the acetabulum. Due to age and wear between the joints, these joints need to be replaced with implants which can function just as a natural joint. Since the early 19th century, the hip joint arthroplasty has evolved, a...

متن کاملLoading Estimation of Flapping Wings under Aeroelastic Effect Using Finite Element Method
The aim of this paper is to provide an aeroelastic computational tool which determines the induced wing loads during flapping flight. For this purpose, a Finite Element (FE) code based on a four-node plate bending element formulation is developed to simulate the aeroelastic behavior of flapping wings in low incompressible flow. A quasi-steady aerodynamic model is incorporated into the aeroelast...
